Karina Vineyard: Mornington Peninsula

Ok so I'm a little late in writing this post but I've been a busy lady! Over the Easter break we travelled down the Mornington Peninsula with a group of friends to celebrate a 30th birthday. We stayed at an AirBNB for 3 nights which was really cute, clean and close to the beach. Most [...]

Things to consider when travelling abroad

Things to consider when travelling abroad

It has only taken me 15 months to publish this blog post. Each time I started to write the post about living my dream and travelling around Australia, I hesitated and in all honesty, I am not 100% sure why. I think partly because I hadn't blogged in (what feels like) forever, and also because the experience was so meaningful to me that I kind of wanted to keep it personal. But then I realised that there was probably a whole load of you out there who were planning an Aussie - or worldwide - trip and could benefit from a little help with the prep, planning and must-dos! Ultimately, that same trip led to a whole other realm of prepping and planning as I moved to Melbourne one year later.

I was planning on cramming the whole trip into one blog post, but where's the fun in that? Also, this one has turned out to be on the lengthy side - what can I say, I'm Scottish, I can talk, okay?

Don't worry, I will fill you in on all the places we visited and also tell you everything you need to know about moving to the other side of the world, but for now here is Part One.

I hope you enjoy and please feel free to ask any questions - I'm happy to help where I can.

Islay| An Easter Trip

Islay| An Easter Trip

We all know the feeling of counting down the days in work until a holiday or day off arrives and since I was venturing to the beautiful, quaint Isle of Islay over Easter, the holiday couldn't come soon enough.
