Neutrogena Hydroboost | Review

I’m always on the lookout for products that target dehydrated skin so when I saw the Neutrogrena Hydroboost range, I knew it was worth a try!

I’ve been using the cleanser, serum and moisturiser religiously for over a month now and I can safely say I’m loving them.

All products are so lightweight and absorb nicely into the skin, not leaving any oily or sticky residue.

So what attracted me to the range? While doing some online research, I discovered the justaboutskin website which aims to educate people about skin, in order to help them make more informed decisions. The author, Rita Lee is a biochemist and a licensed esthetician, plus she is passionate about filling the gap in lack of skin knowledge.

In terms of consistency, all products are gel-like rather than creamy.

Even though I’ve heard of the benefits of using acids, I was always a bit reluctant about it. Maybe because the word itself doesn’t sound very gentle on the skin but after reading more, hyaluronic acid is “a chemical compound that occurs naturally in skin and helps it hold water. Hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water”, according to Neutrogena. And is a key ingredient in the Hydro Boost range of products.

As you can see, the Gelee Milk Cleanser is almost empty (don’t you just love when you finish a whole product?).

Have you tried this range, or any of Neutrogena’s other products? I’d love to know!

  1. Loved your review on Neutrogena Brogan, I’ve never actually tried any of their products surprisingly but I like how you said this product is light-weight and not too oily so I might give some of their face products a go and see if I like it! Loved this post 🙂

    Lots of love,

    1. Awww thanks Yasmin :)! I love the products from this range as they’re just so easy on the skin. They’re on offer at the moment in Priceline pharmacy. Would love to know your thoughts!! xx

  2. I’ve never tried any. But this sounds interesting! And I opt for gels vs creams too. Thanks for sharing!
